I can finally have some privacy when I shower! Before, we were just using the plastic liner as our main shower curtain. I am so picky when it comes to shower curtains so I decided to just make my own. I still need to iron it, but I was just too excited to put it up!
Strawberry Days Rodeo
On friday, Scott and I went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo in Pleasant Grove... We had sooo much fun. I couldn't believe it! When we pulled up, Scott said it wasn't going to be worth it, and I asked him "why". He said because "it didn't smell like manure enough". He was so excited that he even dressed up in his version of a cowboy. So cute!
This was our favorite event... they were teams of 2 and they had to milk a wild cow. You can't tell from this picture, but guys were getting dragged all over the rink and trampled on. I'm sure there were some bad injuries, but I was laughing so hard!
I had to get a picture of this because they were making such a big deal about this cowgirl (who kinda looked like a dominatrix cowgirl). All she could do was get buffalo to stand on her trailor... Maybe I just haven't been around buffalo enough to know how cool it is.
It doesn't hurt to dream.
Future casa
The apartment we live in now is kinda ghetto. Actually really ghetto. My parents tried to top it with one of their "back in my day" stories, but when the saw it, the said "nevermind this might be worse". It's perfect for newlyweds because we have a lot of space for how much we pay. I noticed that I spend a lot more time looking at peoples' blogs about their home and daydreaming about what my future house will look like. So far this is what my house will some day look like...
H is for Hyde
To buy or not to buy? i need your help! It would look so cute with this project that I'm working on... what do you think? It's only $14 at urbanoutfitters if that helps.

Do you ever just want someone to make up your mind for you for everything? I've been in that mood lately... especially when it comes to deciding what to eat.
Pain pain go away!
I've been having a little post car crash pain, so I went to see the best doctor in the world!! His name is Dr. Porter and he is a family doctor as well as an orthopedic doctor. Luckily he said my neck pain should go away on its own, but the better news is that he figured out why I've been having sooo much back pain. It turns out that my right leg is 1/4 of an inch longer than the left. With the simple solution of a shoe lift, I will hopefully be pain free! With years of lower back pain, this is the best news I have ever heard! Thank you Dr. Porter!

*although these shoes do create lift, you will never catch me wearing these horrendous fashion mistake... how did these ever become "trendy"

Californian or Utahian?
So every day I'm turning more and more into a "Utahian". First thing to go was my beloved California drivers license, then it was the license plate, and now... the footwear! That's right. I just bought my first pair of chacos!

Now I'm not gonna be that intense and wear them around town with my abercrombie flared jeans and shade shirt, but these are the perfect outdoorsy shoe. I can just picture myself climbing a mountain on a hot summer day or going river rafting in these bad boys. I can't wait to use them... what should be my first hike? Do you want to come with?
