About the Bride
Hello! My name is Jenna Brooks and grew up in Carlsbad, California and now I am a student at Utah Valley University. I'm studying nursing and feel very fortunate to be in such a amazing major. I like the beach, snow, yoga, scrapbooking, dogs, ice cream, and traveling. I am the youngest in the a family of 2 boys and 1 sister. I have 3 adorable nephews and 1 beautiful niece. I plan on spending the rest of my life traveling the world with my future husband and work as a nurse :)
About the Groom
I grew up in Maple Valley Washington, the northwest is the best! I am the only boy in my family of 4 children. I served my mission in Thailand and can’t wait to go back again. I have one semester left at BYU and then I plan on working towards a masters degree also at BYU, while my soon to be wife is finishing up her nursing degree. Fly Fishing has always been my favorite past time, but I wouldn’t call it much of a past time for me because it is more of a time consumer and that’s the way I like it. I will be buying Jenna a new pair of waders in high hopes that she will follow me around in the rivers and maybe catch the excitement of the sport. In the winter I love snow sports and in the summer water sports, always active never stopping to smell the flowers. Can't wait to share my life with Yen.
How We Met
We first met October 6, 2007 at a party that I had at my house because we share lots of mutual friends. After the first night, Scott's sister, Kristen, told him that I was the girl he needs to marry... haha little did she know! A couple of months went by and on February 29th we both felt a connection. The next day he took me on a date to the play She Loves Me and there was an immediate connection. After about a year and a half of dating, we knew we where meant to be together for eternity.
